August 26th - 29th
Join us on a transformative adventure on the Superior Hiking Trail, north of Duluth, where you’ll be immersed in nature, meet new friends, and challenge yourself in new ways. These three-night trips are an ideal introduction to backpacking, offering beginners the basics of wilderness travel, yoga, and mindfulness. Those with more experience will have an opportunity to expand on backcountry skills such as navigation and leadership while spending time with likeminded people. We’ll be covering about twelve miles of trail over the course of three days from Tettegouche State Park to Silver Bay, one of the most scenic sections out there!
Organic, delicious meals will be prepared from Thursday evening until Sunday morning, including tasty snacks to keep you fueled
Lightweight backpacking gear can be provided if you don't have your own, including backpack, tent, sleeping bag, pad, and headlamp
Yoga sessions and meditation, plus evening group activities
The opportunity to gain confidence in the backcountry and learn about navigation, leadership, and leave-no-trace principles
What does 'I Am Enough' mean?
The theme of this trip is about embracing who you are right now, imperfections and all
Learning to enjoy the beauty of each moment instead of focusing on the things you wish were different
Understanding how to ask for what you need
